(Ottawa, ON) August 26, 2022 \u2013 <\/strong>The Legacy of Hope Foundation (LHF) is grateful for the support and generosity of spirit demonstrated by Triovest.<\/strong> Thanks to this donation, the LHF will continue to produce education materials and exhibitions that speak to the rich histories, as well as the impacts of abuses on seven generations of Indigenous Peoples and communities as a result of attending Residential and Day Schools, and\/or being affected by the Sixties Scoop.<\/p>\n

Triovest is a fully integrated commercial real estate investment management, development, and advisory company with offices across Canada. Their mission is to create sustainable places that enhance communities and enrich relationships.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the past few years, Triovest has been on a learning journey to better understand the history and experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Canada\u201d said Ryan Schott, Vice President of Marketing and Communications. \u201cOur support of LHF is an important step on how we can play a role in advancing Reconciliation and strengthening Indigenous inclusion.\u201d<\/p>\n

The LHF is a national, Indigenous-led, charitable organization that has been working to promote healing and Reconciliation in Canada for over 22 years. The LHF\u2019s goal is to educate and raise awareness about the history and impacts on seven generations of Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis) children, their families, and communities from attending Residential and\/or Day School. By fostering empathy and understanding, LHF encourages people to address discrimination and injustice and contributes to the equity, dignity, and respectful treatment of Indigenous Peoples.<\/p>\n

La FAE dispose de plus de 25 expositions accessibles au public et travaille \u00e0 rendre ses autres expositions disponibles en ligne. La Fondation poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement des programmes d'enseignement de la maternelle \u00e0 la 12e ann\u00e9e et pour les adultes, ainsi que des guides d'activit\u00e9s visant \u00e0 sensibiliser les Canadiens \u00e0 l'histoire autochtone et \u00e0 l'histoire commune des pensionnats et des externats, de la Rafle des ann\u00e9es 60, etc. La FAE travaille \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper l'empathie et la compr\u00e9hension afin d'\u00e9liminer le racisme \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gard des peuples autochtones.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
