We are grateful for Sarah\u2019s efforts in raising funds for the LHF, which will enable us to educating Canadians about the harmful impacts of the Residential and Day School System and the Sixties Scoop so as to address ongoing discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAcross the country, Canadians are standing up and showing support of the process of Reconciliation. This requires education because these systems of oppression against Indigenous Peoples are a shared history that all Canadians must acknowledge so that we can move forward collectively on the path of respect, equity and healing. We are so grateful to individuals like Sarah for their support,\u201d said Teresa Edwards, Executive Director and In-House Legal Counsel at the LHF.<\/p>\n<p>The LHF is a national, Indigenous-led, charitable organization that has been working to promote healing and Reconciliation in Canada for over 21 years. The LHF\u2019s goal is to educate and raise awareness about the history and existing intergenerational impacts of the Residential and Day School Systems and subsequent Sixties Scoop on Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis) Survivors, their descendants, and their communities to promote hope and healing in Canada. The LHF works to encourage people to address injustice in order to contribute to the equity, dignity, and respectful treatment of Indigenous Peoples and to foster Reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p>La FAE dispose de plus de 25 expositions accessibles au public et travaille \u00e0 rendre ses autres expositions disponibles en ligne.
