The LHF will use this generous donation to help pay for the development and curation of educational resources and materials, which will then be shared across Canada to educate people about Indigenous history and the ongoing impacts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a Canadian health and wellness company, prioritizing the physical, mental and social wellbeing of our communities is embedded in our culture,\u201d said Mike PiIato, President and CEO of Jamieson Wellness. \u201cRecent events have shown us how much more we all have to do to educate ourselves and support the wellbeing of the Indigenous community. Jamieson Wellness is currently working with several Indigenous-led and focused organizations to promote diversity, equity &amp; inclusion within our supplier base and recruitment process, and to increase representation of Indigenous people within the organization. As education is crucial to ending systemic racism and injustice, our country is so fortunate to have Legacy of Hope Foundation. The information and programs they provide to educate Canadians on Indigenous history and discrimination is invaluable, and we are honoured to be able to support them and this incredibly important work.\u201d<br \/>\nTeresa Edwards, Executive Director and In-House Legal Counsel, stated upon learning about the efforts and donation, \u201cThis extremely generous donation will allow us to keep producing and distributing resources to educate Canadians on history and Indigenous Peoples so that we can learn from what has happened and build respectful relationships among all. This donation will go a long way and we are extremely grateful for the support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The LHF is a national, Indigenous-led, charitable organization that has been working to promote healing and Reconciliation in Canada for over 21years. The LHF\u2019s goal is to educate and raise awareness about the history and existing intergenerational impacts of the Residential and Day School Systems and subsequent Sixties Scoop on Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis) Survivors, their descendants, and their communities to promote hope and healing in Canada. The LHF works to encourage people to address discrimination and injustices in order to contribute to the equality, dignity, and respectful treatment of Indigenous Peoples and to foster Reconciliation.<\/p>\n<p>La Fondation a plus de 25 expositions \u00e9ducatives qui favorisent la sensibilisation \u00e0 l'histoire autochtone et qui peuvent \u00eatre emprunt\u00e9es gratuitement, et travaille \u00e0 la mise en ligne de ses expositions.
