Le projet vise \u00e0 honorer la vie et l&#039;h\u00e9ritage des femmes et filles autochtones disparues et assassin\u00e9es (MMIWG) et des personnes 2SLGBTQ+.<\/p>\n<p>L'objectif de ces rencontres sera de recueillir les commentaires des familles canadiennes qui ont perdu des \u00eatres chers \u00e0 cause de la violence et de nous aider \u00e0 cr\u00e9er la meilleure exposition possible dans le but de sensibiliser la population au racisme, au sexisme et \u00e0 la violence contre les femmes, les filles et les personnes 2SLGBTQ+ autochtones \u00ab\u2009En nous\nrendant directement dans les communaut\u00e9s autochtones, nous donnons la chance aux\nfamilles touch\u00e9es par la disparition et le meurtre de femmes, de filles et de personnes 2SLGBTQ+ autochtones de faire entendre leur voix et de partager leur opinion sur le d\u00e9veloppement de l'exposition, de sensibiliser \u00e0 la discrimination et \u00e0 la marginalisation\nque subissent les femmes et les personnes 2SLGBTQ+ autochtones, et d'identifier des\nsolutions pour y rem\u00e9dier\u2009\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Teresa Edwards, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et conseill\u00e8re juridique interne de la FAE.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals who are not able to make it to the sessions can participate by filling out the \u201cWays to Participate Form\u201d that can be found directly on our website at legacyofhope.ca\/project\/waniskahtan\/.<\/p>\n<p>Le produit final donnera lieu \u00e0 une exposition itin\u00e9rante, Waniskahtan, et au guide d&#039;activit\u00e9s qui\nl&#039;accompagne sur FADA et personnes 2SLGBTQ+, afin d&#039;honorer les vies perdues, de sensibiliser\naux probl\u00e8mes qui les mettent en danger, de traiter la violence masculine et de promouvoir des\nactions visant \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger tout le monde. Il s&#039;agit notamment d&#039;encourager les spectateurs de\nl&#039;exposition \u00e0 s&#039;engager personnellement \u00e0 se dresser contre la violence et \u00e0 promouvoir la paix.\nWaniskahtan, en cri swampy, signifie \u00ab\u2009r\u00e9veille-toi\u2009\u00bb. Une fois achev\u00e9e, cette exposition sera ajout\u00e9e\naux 19 expositions de la FAE qui circulent dans tout le Canada pour continuer \u00e0 \u00e9duquer et \u00e0 inspirer\ndes actions positives.\u00a0<em>Waniskahtan\u00a0<\/em>et le guide d&#039;activit\u00e9s d&#039;accompagnement sur les individus MMIWG et 2SLGBTQ + pour honorer leurs vies perdues, accro\u00eetre la sensibilisation aux probl\u00e8mes qui les mettent en danger, lutter contre la violence masculine et promouvoir des actions pour prot\u00e9ger tout le monde. Cela inclut d&#039;encourager les spectateurs des expositions \u00e0 s&#039;engager personnellement \u00e0 lutter contre la violence et \u00e0 promouvoir la paix.\u00a0<em>Waniskahtan<\/em>, is Swampy Cree and means \u201cwake up.\u201d Once completed, this exhibition will be added to the 19 LHF exhibitions that circulate across Canada.<\/p>\n<p>La FAE est un organisme caritatif autochtone national dont les objectifs sont d&#039;\u00e9duquer, de\nsensibiliser et de faire comprendre les cons\u00e9quences des pensionnats indiens, y compris la Rafle\ndes ann\u00e9es\u00a060 et les pr\u00e9judices interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnels caus\u00e9s aux Premi\u00e8res Nations, aux Inuits et\naux M\u00e9tis.
