The work we do, is to ensure that students of all ages, are increasing their education and awareness about Indigenous Peoples in Canada and all that has been endured through the Residential School System and its subsequent impacts. This process of increasing education is so that students can be better informed in their education and build empathy and understanding so as to address racism and foster Reconciliation across Canada. We thank Merivale High School for their support,” says Teresa Edwards, Executive Director and In-House Legal Counsel at the LHF.
